Will TarzansKat meet Captain Jack? ~A Pirate's Life for 3 Pre-Trippie~ We're back!

And you know there WILL be a next time... even when we say we won't be going again for X years... soon enough we find a way to get some sort of fix.:lovestruc :lovestruc :lmao:

That is so true!

Last year I told DH I wouldn't go again unless we stayed deluxe and I wouldn't do free dining. :rotfl2:

What did I do?

Book free dining at the Pop.

I just can't pass up that deal. Deluxe will have to wait! ;)

Alrighty, it's been about an hour and a half since DS had Tylenol. He is more talkative, and did something I hadn't seen all weekend.

He laughed. :cloud9:

He's drinking much more juice/pedialyte, and had a few bites of cheerios. I put a tiny, tiny bit of soy on it, and am giving him the drier parts. He just does not get the concept of dry cereal.

So far, it's staying down. He keeps asking for a little drink. I don't know how much to give him, so we're just trying to limit it to little sips, but I would guess he's had at least 4 ounces now if not more. I just don't want to put it in the straw cup yet, because I don't want him to chug it.:)

:yay: So happy to hear he is on his way to hydrated! You can always try a cracker if he won't do the cereal.

Yes... it is true. We were not going this year. We cruised in October so our "shedule" is every two years. So ... I say we need to do the parks between cause youngest DS does not remember the parks.

so now it is ok... now we won't go again until late 2010. Hmm... but I have secretly been looking at weekend Dis Cruises and thinking of when I could sneak one in... as a GIFT for my DP. hahahahahaha You can't refuse a gift.

Then I heard about bounce back and thought...if they offer ME one... I will be able to say...it makes this trip so much less if we book that one because of the double value....I'm aquarius so i can make that logical somehow... but what if they don't offer me a bounceback... then I will get free dining if they offer it next year and work on that value somehow...

So now I am a schemer (sp?) of Dis trips.:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl2:

Actually he's had a bit of cereal now. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that all this stays in. His mood seems to have improved as well, but I am making him lay down. I don't want him to get a little boost of energy and think he can run all over. ;)

Sounds promising, hopefully before too long he'll be swinging from the lightshades like a true pirate:yay: pirate: :yay:

Alright, I definitely smile at a lot of the stuff I read on here, but that comment made me laugh out loud.

Just the thought of him swinging from the lightshades with a fake toy pistol in full on pirate gear is enough to make me :lmao:

Called DH, he's feeling better.

DS drank a lot, and ate a little and is now all tuckered out. He's asleep on the couch...so I'm typing softly...:::shhh:::

I'm so happy to hear that he is feeling much better. I ran out to get some cold meds and something for lunch and just happened to mosey into staples. Why Staples...well because I have to make my very own trip binder like Charleston Princess of course! DF is going to llooooooove me. :rotfl2:

I am going to go eat lunch and think about my ADR's.

My morning got worse.

You all remember that juice/pedialyte and cheerios?

Well, I saw it again.
And it come out both ways. Double

It was everywhere. Thankfully we've maintained a continual cycle through the washer and dryer, so I was able to throw everything in right away.

And I finally put the poor little nugget in a bath, got all our gear together, and then called the doc. They recommended we go in. So, we just got back.

It's a stomach virus. As long as he stays hydrated he can go without food for at least week. Oh, did I mention he threw up at the doc's office too?

I am so exhausted, and I just want to cry. I can't wait for DH to come home so someone can help me.

We're back to four teaspoons. I don't want to let him sip it, doc told me if he guzzles it he will puke. Which we know to be true. Since it's happened I don't know how many times in the past 5 days.

I can't wait for him to fall asleep again, even if only for thirty minutes. I need a nap! :laundy:

I'm glad your men are getting better as the day passes on. By tomorrow they will be completely back to normal again!

Because of her I got myself a little binder started over the weekend... :cool1: :cool1: If it weren't for Dis we might just drive our families completely crazy with all the extra energy we would have.

Oh Macushla, I feel so sorry for you all. Niamh was really ill for over two weeks over Christmas and New Year and she lost loads of weight. She's quite a skinny child anyway and this made her painfully thin, but she did eventually pick up and once on track she got back to normal very quickly, I'm sure your baby boy will be the same but it is so frightening and draining at the time. :grouphug: I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers:goodvibes

What an ordeal you are going through. I think you should take a nap, you need to rest so you don't get sick.

Thanks guys! I really appreciate the support, I am just so wiped. Looks like he's just fallen asleep. I think I'm going to sneak in a quick bite and try to rest my eyes...I'll be back. :thumbsup2

Well I am all caught up on your wonderfully entertaining ptr. I have spent all morning reading it off and on and it makes me :rotfl2:

Praying for your little pirate: Hope he feels better soon.

At least I can make someone laugh! :lmao:

Thanks much. He took a three hour nap since we've been home. He's had a little bit to drink and is asking for cereal. I said no. :confused3

I want him to wait, I do not need the pukefest I've been dealing with for the past five days. I think we should stick to juice and see how it goes. :thumbsup2

Glad to hear he is feeling better, or so it seems. I think it would be wise to wait. How is your DH?

He seems to be okay. I sent him to Walmart to pick up some more pedialyte as were about to run out, and he sounds in good spirits. Only time will tell whether or not he can eat anything. :thumbsup2
