Will Stormalong Bay Reopen After the Players Leave?

What do people think? I don't see why it wouldn't open, as the other deluxe feature pools are opening. I just want to make sure there's not some reason they wouldn't open that I don't know about.

I'm considering booking a few nights at Beach Club villas for March using DVC points (Beach Club rack rates are nuts and I don't envision a lot of discounts coming out as long as park capacities are capped), but it's only worthwhile if Stormalong Bay is open.

Thoughts? Is it likely to reopen?

I think it will remain closed until YC and BC open to guests on August 24th. The bulk of the cost to run SAB is payed by Disney...I have read around 80%..

With only DVC villas open, Disney won’t be paying that with their hotels closed.

So I suppose during March 2021 it is likely to be open.

Take alot to staff that joint. The resorts need to be fairly active for them to open that I am guessing

Yes, by March 2021, it's reasonable to expect Stormalong Bay will be open - assuming Beach Club and Yacht Club are fully open.
