Will somebody tell me to go wrap gifts??

I shouldnt' be on here, I should be wrapping! Kids are in school, husband is working and this afternoon I have to go to my son's Christmas/Holiday concert at school. Please, is there a grown up here to speak words of reason to me?

Currently, my excuse is that my kids are awake and need me here to supervise them.

I haven't wrapped ANY presents at all. The tree is bare underneath.

Then again I know I'm avoiding it because I can't gift wrap to save my life!

Everytime I wrap some of mine they multiple when I am not looking.

I am so bad. My Mom is wrapping the ones that I have at the house and she wrapped the ones that I had stored at her house. Now if only I could get her to come to my work and wrap the ones I have here. Than my wrapping would be done.

I like the idea of putting on the Christmas music and wrapping. So now I have to go to iTunes and download some music.... that wrapping will have to wait awhile longer!!!

Actually, buying the Chipmunk album for my 6 yr old son - his teacher has been playing it at school - more exposure to the classics!

Okay, now I'm going to do my errands - need more wrapping paper!

Maybe this will help to motivate you.. Many years ago my stepdaughter and her DH kept letting the "gift wrapping" slide.. They had 2 little girls - 4 and 3 years old..

Christmas Eve they had a party to attend and figured they would wrap the gifts after they got home and the girls were in bed.. Well - the party ran really late, they had car trouble on the way home, and by the time they reached the house they were so exhausted they forgot about the wrapping and collapsed into bed..

Christmas morning they were awakened by two little girls crying their eyes out sobbing that "Santa didn't come.. There's no presents under the tree............."

Go wrap the presents!!!!!!!
