Will schoolbread keep over night?

Hi,

I would love to try school bread, but I'm not a big snacker during the day. I'd like to have it for breakfast. Do you think if I buy it one afternoon or evening that it will keep until the next morning? We will have a fridge in the room if you think it's best kept in there.

I just dont think it would make it back to the room at all...in the fridge there would just be a note "I owe you one schoolbread."

Well, my husband who LOVES school bread is shouting in the background, yeah it will keep in the fridge but it will NOT taste the same. HE say's you need to eat it fresh to really enjoy or appreciate it. I really don't care for it due to not really liking pudding or custards but I would have to agree with him. I think it would not taste as good after getting cold. Sorry to dis-courage you but try to eat it at the park fresh. Eat it for breakfast at the park or have a light lunch and then have this for dessert?

here goes, my DH's explantation of this school bread...he say's it it more like bread/water roll type thing with a bravarian custard type filling and shredded coconut on the top of it. Hope this helps?

I have always been a huge Rice Cream fan so that has been my Norway snack for years, but I think it's time to branch out. I have heard too many wonderful comments about school bread for it to be a fluke. I will have School Bread between my wine classes next month!
