Will popped popcorn keep?

I know this is a stupid question but I haven't done it before so I thought I would ask. When I make popcorn, I eat it right away. The camp my son is attending this week will have popcorn for their snack tomorrow. Due to his food allergies, he can't eat the brand they are using. He is fine taking another snack but I could make some up for him in the morning to eat later in the day but now I am wondering if it will stay fresh. It wouldn't be eaten for 6.5 hours. What do you think?

It keeps fine. You can buy bags of popped popcorn at the grocery store, and those have a pretty decent shelf life. And, depending on the movie theatre, that popcorn may have been popped earlier in the day or the day previous, and just placed in the warmer sometime during the previous show.

oh yes, it will be fine. I keep it for days.

As long as it's in a sealed bag it will stay fresh. In fact, I like it better the second day - DH thinks I'm weird - lol.

Yep, just put it in a baggie. I used to send it with dd for a school snack when she was little.
