Will our magic bands work two days later?

My husband and I are taking our honeymoon trip Oct 25th-31st. As it turns out my brother's family is arriving on the 31st. So we check out the 31st and are going to stay at the house they rented Sat and Sun night. Sunday night we all have tickets for MNSSHP. Can we schedule FP+ during the party and will our magic bands still work even though we checked out the day prior?

You'll need to link them to your tickets on your MDE account and then they will work.

During the party, no. FP's are only available to people with MNSSHP tickets in the 4-7 time block. Your band will still be working as long as you have valid park tickets linked to your name.

Our party tix are already linked to our MDE account so I think they should work then. We are planning on getting to MK at 4. So we can schedule FP+ between 4 and 7 once we hit our 60 day window right?

Your offsite family won't be able to make them until 30 days out. I'm not sure if you can reserve FP on your original reservation past your check out day, I don't know how many days of FP you can get. Someone else on here should know.

Yes you can make reservations past a check out date. I did it this past Spring. Before my trip I made F/P reservation to ride Soarin two days after I had checked out. The day I went to Epcot I was staying with family who are CM and they got me into the park with their CM pass so I did not have use my ticket yet I was able to ride Soarin simply by tapping my MB. Mind you they were not with me at the time I rode Soarin they opted to get a coffee at Starbucks instead. We weren't sure I would be able to get on since I had not used my ticket to enter the park but it worked like a charm.

Yes, the bands are linked to your account and not your hotel stay. As long as there are tickets linked you can book fp. But once you check out you can only book at the 30 day window and no longer at the 60.

For the dates immediately following a WDW resort check-out, guests still holding valid tickets for those following dates can continue to make advance FP+ reservations at 60-days-in-advance, one-day-at-a-time.
This is related to the "Throwaway Room" situation.

And, MagicBands are not directly connected to, nor are they controlled by, or limited by, Resort stays.
MagicBands are connected directly to guests' MyDisneyExperience files.
So, the MBs will work at the parks any time, regardless of a resort stay, or not.

Just to keep things as clear as possible-

There is no reservation info, or ticket info, or credit card info,
or FP+ info "put onto" a MagicBand.

A MagicBand just contains (and weakly "transmits") a unique serial number that is used to access the information that is stored in your MyDisneyExperience computer file.

So, even if you were to lose a MagicBand, the info stays locked in your file.
Disney can just set up a new band (different serial number)
to access the info in your MDE file.
Disney can also issue ADDITIONAL MB's to a guest and each
additional band can be used for the same purposes as the first band.
So, yes, there can be multiple MB's per person, and each of them can be used by that person.

The MagicBand works like the combination to a locked safe, or a key to a locked door.

The MB, itself, is not the file of info or the container of the info.
The MB just unlocks the file of info, allowing it to be accessed from your MDE account when needed.

Yeah, I forgot about that "glitch." Never applies to us so I keep forgetting its there.
