Will our kids like the VWL Pool?

We are staying at teh VWL in May and have some uncertainties about the pool and slide. My kids love the BWV slide and pool and the VWL pool slide looks really lame in comparison. Will our kids be disappointed?

You can always pool hop if it's an big issue! I hope you have a wonderful VWL visit. You know your kids, I suppose you should at least tell them that you're going someplace new this time and ask for their input at the resort.

My kids like WL pool better than BC. WL wasn't as crowded and the slide didn't have a line.

We enjoyed the pool and slide at VWL. I haven't been to BWV, but other than Stormalong Bay, VWL pool is as good as any of the other DVC properties where we have stayed.

My kids love pools in general (they would have a great time in the quiet pool)so I may not be the best to answer. My kids loved the pool at WL. Each time they went to the pool the CM had organized games for the guest to play and they used the slide constantly.

The WL slide is pretty tame. Younger kids would probably find it to be satisfactory, but thrillseekers or older children might find it a bit lacking.

Yes, probably they will be disappointed, assuming they are looking for something like the BWV slide.

I wouldn't call the WL slide "lame", but that's mostly because a slide like BWV wouldn't fit in very well with the theming of a swimming pool fed by a mountain stream amidst the boulders.
