I'm sorry, I misunderstood. It's true that only the 3 crucial Senate Republicans who supported the measure were involved in those key discussions. But that makes some sense, as the objective is only to reconcile difference between the two versions that were passed, not to introduce any new items from opponents of the measure.

And we NEED this new "security force" why???? I think we have that already covered with our police departments and our military. What is the need for a 3rd layer like that? It will be used to enforce Obama's agenda. If we don't cooperate, we'll be getting a knock on the door. That's what Obama means by "Unity".

I suspect it will begin with Eco-law enforcment.... The Green Police.

Obama must really believe that he's going to be President for life. Imagine what will happen when a Conservative like Mitt Romney inherits this so-called National Security Force and uses it to enforce his vision for America? Obviously you didn't even watch the entire speech, and you have no concept of the use of metaphor. He wasn't at all talking about security in the sense of police and military. He wasn't talking about any sort of armed force. He was talking about encouraging a culture of community service, of Americans taking responsibility for one another's welfare (or to be Biblical, bearing one another's burdens).
