Will New England ever warm up??

It's early May. I don't think I should still have the heat on...and still be freezing in my house.

I want some !!!!!

It's supposed to be in the 70's tomorrow and Friday here in southern NH. Then back to the 60's for awhile.
That being said, I honestly don't mind this. It's easier to be motivated to tackle the insane amounts of work (and packing) I have to do before I go home next week if I don't want to be outside. Plus I like my sweatshirts much better than summer clothes
The rain, however, is a pain, but we need it badly up here

It's supposed to be warming up tomorrow and over the weekend. I don't want it to be too hot - last year my lilacs were scorched black right on the bush and the heat and drought killed my lawn to the point where last week I had to dig the whole front lawn because it was too damaged to repair.

My parents returned home last Weds from 3 months in FL. My dad's ready to get in the car and go back. DS is playing soccer and baseball this Spring, and you should have seen all the parents at Friday's baseball game. Blankets, sleeping bags, mittens, hats, handwarmers, coats, stadium coats, the works.

We do need the rain desperately though.

Seriously, I just went & lit the pellet stove after posting this. I'm tired of being cold, & I would rather burn the pellets we already paid for than have to pay a high electric heat bill next month.

I would love it if it stayed 50 all year round. Keep it like this, I'll even keep the rain.

I agree, I am SO tired of having my heat on It's completely unbelievable.... this feels like it will go forever....
