Will my magic bands ship out?

I was having trouble customizing our magic bands (I kept getting error messages), so I called them today and they fixed it for me. Now it says, "Make changes by March 6, 2019 for pickup at check-in." Are they not going to ship out? I really wanted to get them in advance so we could do online check-in and not have to go to the front desk. (Our trip starts on March 12th).

ETA: I’m wondering if there is some sort of deadline I missed.

deadline for updating to have them shipped to your home is 5 weeks before your trip. we just got our bands last weekend 4 weeks before our arrival date.
 
We booked a last minute trip on 2/5 for 2/16 and our MBs shipped on 2/9 and we received them 2/11. I was surprised because I fully expected to pick them up at check-in! We go there anyway to decline housekeeping for the gift card.

Why are my magic bands listed as pickup at resort?

This is not true at all. We booked our most recent vacation 2 weeks in advance, and they were shipped to us and arrived 3 days after we booked the trip. It also said "pick up at resort" for us on the website but they shipped them anyway.

I had a similar experience last month. With the holidays, I didn’t realize that I hadn’t customized my bands for a trip starting MLK day. When I went in to do it, it said they would be at the front desk, but I received them in the mail about a week later.

Full disclosure-I do live about a thirty minute drive from the shipping address in Davenport, Florida, so perhaps proximity makes a difference.

This has been a problem for awhile now. Click on the splash screen that says Make changes by March 6 for pickup at check in, and the details screen should open up that tells you to make changes by 30 days before your arrival, and also listing a shipping address.

Thanks! I just went to check and it changed to "Your MagicBand Order Is Being Fulfilled. We will ship it shortly and provide tracking details."
