Will liberty tree tavern be crowded on a MNSSHP?

We have 6:45pm ressies in Oct. for liberty tree tavern and do not have tickets to the party. Does this restaurant get busy before the party? Thanks, Linda

i would say possibly, since regular people can eat.. or cant they? hmmm, so what if you book that adr and you take your time eating and get out at 8pm but you didnt purchase a MNSSHP ticket and then get to walk through all the fun on your way out.

I will tell you my experience last year. LTT was packed and very slow service on a MNSSHP nite. I think our ADR was for about 5:45 and I think we waited for at least 30 min before being seated. It was bad because we were going to the party. I think our server also had a very large and high maintenance table too. It may not always be the case and maybe you won't be in a hurry like we were if you aren't going to the party.

I had heard from other DISers it was a bad idea to waste party time for an ADR but too silly to take the advice. So this year we will either eat early at Kona or just do CS on our MNSSHP nite.

We ate at Liberty Tree in September 2008 on night of MNSSHP and it was crazy busy - we waited 45 minutes for our table. It was still a character dinner then so not sure if that was part of the reason. We had tickets to the party but majority of diners did not. Everyone that was in the waiting area stepped onto the veranda to watch the parade as it went by. I learnt my lesson to not book a dinner on party night as it wasted so much of our event time.

We had a totally different experience. We went last year on a party night and we had tickets. It was busy but no busier than it would be at a restaurant at dinner time. We were seated on time and served timely. Made it out with plenty of time to enjoy the first parade.
