Will jetblue add more flights?

I'm not sure if anyone can answer that, but I know people fly a lot more often that I do. I'm trying to get pm flights for the last weekend in Feb (race weekend) and right now there are no returning flights to my airport that aren't morning time. I'm a little paranoid I'll end up with no options at all if I don't book something now, since I have such a small availability window. (I have to fly on the exact days I've been searching for-really quick weekend trip.)

Does anyone know the likelihood of them adding more flights? Or should I suck it up and buy much longer/more annoying connecting flights?

I've been flying JetBlue out of Dulles, dca-Reagan and now bwi for years. I have to say I've never seen them add a flight. I've seen the times change, but only slightly. By a few minutes.

I would say its highly unlikely that they will add flights. What city are you flying out of?

Agree with the PP's that its not likely that JB will add flights. Airlines don't have a lot of "spare" planes around so adding a flight at your airport would mean canceling a flight at a different airport. That then becomes a further issue because the plane is supposed to be in one place but is now elsewhere, affecting the next flight.

Sounds like you fly out a smaller airport. One benefit of releasing schedules closer in time to flight dates means they aren't likely to change much.

Yeah out of Hartford. Thanks for the info! Looks like I should've booked those $500 flights when they had them :(

just for info .... having a plane to fly an additional flight is just one part of the equation ....

airlines must buy "slots" at airports..... There are only so many gates. Even if they have a plane and a crew, no "slot" at both ends means no flight.

Yup - that's the issue - most of the Northeast is on Feb break that week and everyone goes back to school on Monday 2/27. Since we're all fleeing the frozen tundra for a week in FL, flights are insane!

None of our schools have Feb break any more! It stinks. But the few left that do have it the 3rd week. There just were barely any flights to begin with :/
