Ok, so it seems that the thrip I have been anticipating for months has finally been booked by my Mom, to go at the end of January. Ever since I got back to Calgary from my first trip last year I have been desperate to return, so we(me, sister, brother) were quite thrilled when she finally confirmed it.

Problem is, I don't know If I can take the wait. Like today was the first day at school since she booked it, and It went by soooooslowly as DL was the only thing on my mind!

So eventually will I feel sane again and forget about it for a couple months, or will it be like this for the next 3-4 months! Because time goes so slowly... Just wondering, as I am sure some of you have felt the same.

PS:Just checked, and everything except HM and IASW is open! Thank god, I would have died if Splash/Space/POTC were closed...(on that note, how accurate is that refurbishment calendar on the disneyland site?)

Thanks!

Ok, maybe I wasnt as clear as I should have been.

So my question is:

Based on your personal experiences, do you find yourself almost ridiculously excited when you first book your trip? And does that continue through the months before your trip? Or does it kind of go away and then return closer to the date?...
Just wondering what you guys have experienced.... Becuase I can't live like this for 3 months!

It will not get better. You will find that you get more and more Disney obsessed as the time gets closer. :lovestruc Fortunately you have the DIS to help with that obsession. You will get lots of ideas here for your trip and you could use that knowledge to help your mom in the planning. :surfweb: Your friends and family will be joyful of the DIS because they will not have to listen to you go on and on about your Disney obsession.

Keep your chin up and visit the DIS everyday and you will find the time go by quickly.

:welcome: to the DISney obsessed!

I live 1 hour away and have a premium AP. I can go almost whenever I want. I still get like that. If I know I'm going the next day I still get excited and can't sleep at night, even though I go all the time. Sorry, you got the bug.:wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

Exactly! Well said!!

I was super excited when I started planning. But now there's not much to plan until I actually book stuff (which I never do until a month or two in advance.)

Now I'm excited but not super antsy. It will return when the dates get closer though.

What dates are you going and where are you staying?

We'll be there January 21st-26th.
