OK - you may laugh! but Millie has her fave teddy "Kerry" that goes everywhere with her....to the point that we have actually ordered a Teddy's Passoprt (a miniture version of the real thing!).....we have put Kerry's photo in it etc and filled out all of Kerry's particulars!! ......will the immigration guys stamp the passport?? or will they be real meanies and refuse?!.....just don't want to raise Millie's expectations!

Thanks

Laura

You can also get teddy bear passports at the bear factory. We got one for our wee brother, told him that the teddy can take his passport but he is "lucky" probably will not have to show it to immigration!! Thought he might be able to show it to the air stewards though and he was fine with that!

Oh Laura, we've always found immigration officers to be very serious. I'm not sure I'd want to ask.
Why not get 'Kerry's' passport stamped at all the different countries in Epcot instead??? :)

Great Idea Malificent! ......Epcot it will be....we will try at immigration though (I'll let you know how we got on when we get back!)

LOL - You can so tell I haven't been to WDW yet - Epcot is soooo obvious !

Well I can tell you that amazingly YES, immigration did stamp my daughters teddy's passport. She asked herself and the guy just did it! I have to say she is braver than me, they are always way too far serious for me. So give it a go :)

Bad news I'm afraid!

It seems that Teddy Bears are not covered under the terms of the Visa Waiver agreement. Therefore all Teddy Bears must apply to the US Embassy in London for a visa.
This should be a straight forward process, as long as the Teddy Bear has not been arrested in the past or has been involved in any terrorist activities.
On entry to the US the Teddy Bear will be photographed and it's paw prints taken.
While in the US the Teddy Bear will not be able to work and must only stay for a maximum of 90 days.

:rotfl2: too funny

Just to add on to my previous post. Our Teddy did have it's Bear Factory knitted Union Jack jumper and sunglasses on and did look fantastic. The US Airways crew were pleading with her to part with him!!!!

I'm really worried now, my six year old says her bears name is Fluffy Lanzarini, with a name like that, she has to have a dubious history in the adult film industry and is bound to be refused entry to the good old U.S. of A.

Does anyone know of a good site for fake teddy passports to help entry to U.S.?

LOL you guys, youve certainly brightened up my Sunday afternoon LOL :rotfl:
