Fewer people show up for breakfast than are listed on the reservation? 4 people are listed but DH and DS are not going, just myself and DD8. Will I still be charged for the two not showing up? I am talking about the princess breakfast at Akerhaus that we had to reserve with a CC.

If you used a credit card to secure the reservation the answer would be yes. As unpleasent as it may seem,they do inforce this. I think it is $25 per person. Some one will correct me if I'm wrong about the amount.

Was it an error on WDW's behalf or does the other members just not want to come? If the latter, I think you'll have to pay. So if that were the case, looks like my two family members would be at Akerhaus

If you gave a credit card guarantee that x amount of people will be there and less show up, you are still charged for x amount of people a no show fee.

I can say for sure you will be. This happened to us just this past Sept. I woke up sick that morning, but told my husband and mom to go without me. When we got back, I went online to pay my credit card and noticed an entertainment charge from WDW that I couldn't figure out. I called and sure enough had been charged for me not showing up at Akershus.

Just call and cancel those not attending. There Is a deadline but it is something like 24 or 48 hours prior.

I believe its $20 per person and you have to cancel/modify outside of 48 hours

I'm not sure you will be able to cancel two people off of a four person ressie. You would have to cancel and rebook for two people

Thats true. If you have a table for 4 youll have to cancel and rebook for a table of 2. If you have two tables for 2 they can just remove one and keep the same res but that doesnt happen very often
