We are going to stay at ASMu Dec 2nd for just one night. We live within driving distance but I would like to make the most out of the day and night and staying at a hotel is easier than traveling tired. I loathe Values at this point but the rate I got with my AP Discount was too good to pass up and was 50% less than anything offsite. I know it's Pop Warner weekend but we will mostly doing park things with a trip to dine at GF. Am I insane?? Will the cheer and football frenzy be overwhelming..?

FUN FACT : my daughter cheered last year and made it to Nationals, her team was lucky enough to stay at Coronado Springs pre construction and the kids were hardly noticeable because things are so spread out there.

We've been 4 times during Pop Warner week, twice at Sports where 90% of them stay, and never been a problem. The only way we would even know is by seeing kids in their jerseys.

I had issues at cbr in December of 2015. The tweens/teens stayed there, and they took over the pool and hot tubs. The parents weren’t providing appropriate supervision. Some of the groups blared music at the quiet pools that we could hear inside our room from across the lake. There were other issues. Probably not as bad if it is the younger ones.

If you haven’t already done so, download a white noise app to your phone. I use one any time I travel and rarely hear anything outside my room.

I visit during Pop Warner every year and so far (knocking on wood) I haven’t had any issues with resort noise.

Been there a couple of times. Never any problems at Pop Warner time. You see a few kids in football gear but that is about it. Business as usual. Enjoy your trip.

Stayed AS Sports during Pop Warner in 2015.
Had football players all around us.
It was great!
Coaches laid out the rules in the courtyard as we were finding our room and those kids followed them wonderfully.
I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Just request a quiet room, not near the pools and you'll be okay. I've stayed in the Broadway section with no problems.

Like I said, we will only be there to sleep, we want to make the most of our overnight trip , I guess for the price I can just deal with any rowdiness.

I'd be very surprised if you came across any rowdiness.

Thanks for the input everyone!! I'm sure it'll be great! Sorry if I seem too negative about it.
