Will I regret not buying today?

I'm curious about the webcast as well. By the way, did you break up your 270 points into more than one contract? I would do 3 -- 100, 100, and 70. Best to keep the contracts small so that if you ever need to sell some points, you don't have to sell the entire kit and kaboodle.

Congratulations and welcome home!!! :cool1:

Best advice you'll ever get. If you're buying direct which it appears you are, split up your points into a few smaller contracts. That way should you ever decide to sell it will be much easier to sell the smaller contracts, and they also tend to fetch a higher price.

Jason can probably attest to that.

Haven't actually tried just yet. I'm contemplating waiting for the webcast on 12/8 to see if that deal is any better before closing.

Good idea not finalizing your purchase before the webcast.....you're right ya never know, what's offered may be better ! Hope it turns out that way for you :goodvibes

That is correct. I think Disney is doing a better job of advising to break up the contracts. If you are buying 600 points for example, I would break them as three 200 point listings. These simply gives you more options should you need to sell one or two of them.

This is great advice.

Thanks for the suggestion. At 35 with 3 kids, it makes more sense to break up evenly because they are easily split between them when we're not around/able to use them. That way each is free to do with as they please and you don't have to worry about any disagreements.

Hmmm....I'd use the 100/100/70 as an incentive for them not to be the one that get the 70 pointer. ;)
