Will I need a Fantasmic Dining Package

We will be there Dec. 1 - Dec. 9 of this year. Do you think I will need a Fantasmic Dining Package to get into one of the shows or is it pretty easy to find a seat during that week?

That should be a somewhat slow week you should be able to get in but will still have to wait in line for a little while

While we always use the F. dining package, as the PP said, it IS a slower week (usually). I would watch the line carefully, though. Check and see what it looks like at 11/2 hrs before show time. If it looks like the line is building, you may have to get in line then. If you are there on an EMH night, then expect heavy crowds and a long line.

You just never know- it's a roll of the dice. Some say they get in only half an hour early, others find the amphitheatre SRO with an hour yet to go. Hence our preference for the dining package.

Thank You! We have always visited WDW the week before and have never had to wait in line for Fantasmic. We show up 1/2 hour before show time and walk in and find a seat. Now, we are not picky about our seat location since we have seen it so many times so I'm sure that benefits us. I am hoping to find the same experience visiting the following week.

Can you get the Fantasmic package with the dining plan or is it a separate cost?

Yes it counts as 1 TS credit on the DP. Actually a good deal because last time I look the package included an appetizer.
