I'm not sure this was the right place to post this....(transportation? theme park strategies? I couldn't decide!) so move if need be, mods!

Here's my word problem::laughing:

Our flight gets in at 4:10pm. We have a 6:45 dinner ADR at Ohana. Staying at Pop, using Magical Express. Will be make it on time or should I try for a later ADR?

Thanks in advance.

try to get a secondary reservation for the later time. Maybe 30-45 minutes later to be safe. Especially since you are going resort to resort. Your easiest transfer point is a park.

When we went last month we landed at 6 and had 755 at Cap'n Jacks. At 7:55 we were boarding the boat at the resort for DTD.

I think you are being overly optimistic. There are just too many pieces to the puzzle that have to work properly. I would suggest a later reservation if you can get it. If nothing is available them keep your reservation and keep your fingers (and toes) crossed.

If the stars align just so you might make it. I would definitely try for something later.

The one time we took ME, it was over 2 (closer to 3) hours from the time we landed before we were on the bus to Epcot. All we did was check in, went to the bathroom and flew to the bus stop.

To get from Pop to Ohana's - you'll have to take a bus to MK. To get to Ohana's you'll head over the monorail and then ride the monorail to the Polynesian. You could take the launch over, but I think the monorail will be quicker. That in itself will take over half an hour (bus ride, walk to monorail, monorail ride)

I was there last week. I got into MCO at 11:18. We had to take a little "tram" to the baggage claim, wiat about 20 minutes for the luggage to start coming out etc...It was about 12:40 when we had our bags.

While I rented a car, my sis and family took the ME. They had to wait in one line to check in and while I was getting my bags, she was still there. I drove by her in my rental still waiting to board. She said she got to the GF at 2:00.

I got to my resort at 1:20. My check in process was about 15 - 20 minutes. We waited behind 1 other family at check in and had to get our cards printed/told about refillable mugs/amenities at hotel etc...then off to room to drop luggage.

I would say try to get a later time! Assuming you wont have a car with you either, Pop to Poly could be about 40 minutes to get to or more.

On the other hand, I should up to one ADR 15 minutes late and they took me right away...so maybe you can explain circumstances.

1) Let's see:
. . . arrive 4:10pm
. . . get to DME departure area 4:25pm
. . . check-in and board bus, 4:40pm
. . . if first bus, with no waiting, arrive Pop 5:45pm
. . . no check-in, to save time *
. . . order taxi for Poly, 5:55pm
. . . arrive Poly, 6:25pm
2) Now, that is if EVERYTHING goes without a hitch or delay.

* If you have DDP, you must check-in, so add 35-45 minutes.

Okay, okay....I get it. I'm just trying to kid myself! Thanks for the reality check. I'll reschedule my ressie for maybe 7:45 - maybe we'll catch fireworks if I make it later...
