Will I make Fantasmic?

Hi....will I be able to make it to an 8.30pm showing of fantasmic...after an adr for 6pm at sc-fi.
This will be late august and I am planning on checking into the restaurant at about 5.30 ish straight after the parade. Does this mean I should get seated earlier??

Iam hoping to be done eating and over to fantasmic by 7.30pm. Is this possible?

Tinker if you make a reservation at H&V, Mama Melrose or Brown Derby you can get reserved seating at Fantasmic and not have to wait in the long line to get in. I have heard if you don't have the fantasmic package you need to be there in line at least an hour or hour and a half before the show if you want a seat.

Hi tracie...yes I know about the dining package and Iam in two minds what to do about it

We really want to eat in sc-fi for the kids...So Iam hoping it will be not too crowded in late august and we will get seats.
I keep hearing different things about waiting times....some say walk in 30 mins before and still plenty of seats and some say a lot longer and it was full!!!
Did you get the package tracie. Are you the same traciedee as on the TGM forums

Depends.

Believe it or not, it will take you 15-20 minutes to walk from the front door of Sci-Fi to the actual THEATER area (not just the "entrance") to Fantasmic!
(They are about as far APART as anything can be in MGM.)

If you CAN get seated in Sci Fi near your ADR time (don't know about that... be SURE to ARRIVE 20 minutes EARLY and check in!)
Put your food order in quickly (read the menus posted outside or ask for one at check-in), then you can be finished with your meal by 7:00-7:15p.

Walk directly to Fantasmic! and find your seats... THEN, relax, take a restroom break, chat about the day, etc.

In PRIME SEASON (Summer) I would never attempt to enter Fantasmic! less than 50-60 minutes before scheduled showtime (w/o Dinner Pkg).

If this timetable is too stressful for you, I'd either move the ressies at Sci-Fi earlier by 30 min. or so, OR do the dining package at another restaurant

i have adr reservation for sci fi in the first of june at 5:15. now on this night mgm has evening emh do they have 2 shows? do u think i will be able to make it? ive never seen fantasmic and i dont want to miss it!

Hi Tinkerbell, same Traciedee. We are not on the dining plan. Staying off site. Do want to go to Scfi-fi and Prime time, so I know how you feel.
