Will I love Disney's Beach Club Resort?

...If you think you'll enjoy walking to Epcot for dinners each night, watching Illuminations, then walking back to BC, then that is one good indication you'll love staying at BC. If you think you'll enjoy walking or boating to MGM/HS, walking and enjoying the boardwalk area, renting surrey bikes and riding around the lake, many great restaurants all within walking distance, movies on the beach, Beaches & Cream for ice cream treats.....then I really do think you'll enjoy staying at BC!

very well said and you bring back wonderful memories!

I think a lot depends on your expectations.

If you REALLY understand that you are paying for two things with this hotel...

1. Location
2. AWESOME pool

Then you will be fine.

If you think it's going to be a "once in a lifetime" memorable "Deluxe" resort experience, then you are probably going to be disappointed. Disney doesn't provide that. They provide a nice hotel at a "luxury" price...

We decided on the BC resort for many reasons... many stated above... some our own preference... but its WDW it will be magical I am sure!!!! WE cant wait!!!!!!

We stayed at BCV for our honeymoon in October..... absolutely loved everything about it! Our room was ready when we checked in at 10am, the location is perfect, the pool was fabulous, loved going to sit out on the beach at the end of the night..... LOVE IT!

I think you'll love it. I really like the Beach Club but a few things keep it from being my favorite: it needs a bigger counter service type place than the Marketplace and SAB should stay open later in the summer. I understand it closes because of noise and all the rooms surrounding it - but I'd like a late night swim in that pool!

My SIL's family stayed with us at BC one summer, and while they thought the whole area was very nice, they wouldn't stay there again. They never made it to SAB due to afternoon thunderstorms and closing at 10pm  and when they came back from the parks at 10pm wanting to get something to eat room service took 1 1/2 to 2 hours  I did tell them they could walk to the Dolphin for something quick to eat, but my BIL thought the room service wait and no where else in the hotel to get food at night was crazy for the price paid.

The pool & location can't be beat. Depending on how many you're traveling with, the room can feel cramped (we had 4), and some of the interior hallways seem to go on forever.

Looking forward to going back one day!
