Will be just hubby and me celebrating our 20th anniversary. We have been on the Dream and Fantasy. I know Magic is a smaller ship. Will we like it? Is there as nice of an adult only area?

We prefer the dream and the fantasy, but you will get people who prefer the smaller ships like the Magic and Wonder. I think it just comes down to personal preference.

We have sailed all four ships multiple times, and we sailed on the Magic again after it was refurbished just to see the comparison. That is when we learned that we like the bigger ships.

We like the smaller ships, especially the quiet cove area. The pool seems bigger and you can leisurely swim mini laps and the area seems to get more sun. On the dream class the pool seems to be in the shade more.
We have also found the staff to be much more personable on the Magic and Wonder vs the larger ships and other than the kids pool area the ship truly does feel less congested.

Love the Magic! We were just on her in June/July for the first time and had a wonderful time. It was Norway and Iceland so we didn't spend any time in the adult pools, but loved Cove Cafe and the After Hours bar areas. It was a sailing that had a lot of adult only groups, yet the adult areas rarely felt crowded. We have been on the Wonder twice and the Fantasy once prior to this. I think each ship has it's own pluses and minus, but overall we have found service to be much better on the smaller ships. Plus - the Magic has schwarma!! We will back on the Magic next fall and I can't wait. I wouldn't hesitate to sail on any of the four ships. Enjoy your cruise!

we prefer the Magic and the Wonder. We have sailed on all four ships. We haven't been on the Magic since it was in dry dock.

We have also sailed all four ships, most recently the Magic for 2 weeks on the transatlantic in May. We have been on the Magic the most and is my favorite ship. I also like the Dream and Fantasy but the Magic is still beautiful and may not have all the bells and whistles of the newer ships but it is more intimate and they do have a nice adult area. Love Keys, the piano bar which they do not really have on the Dream/Fantasy.

We have been on both and enjoy the Magic. Seems a little less crowded at times and I do enjoy the adult only swim area more so than the Fantasy. I don't think you will be disappointed at all.

We like the Fantasy and Dream better but there are some nice things about the Magic as well.

I think Palo is much nicer on the Magic...........especially the brunch and the way it is laid out.

The sun is much more available by the magic adult pool area but i like the Dream/Fantasy pool area better. (also the satellite falls on the Fantasy)

Have fun!
