I am curious to know what people think of this dinner buffet? I don't eat red meat but love seafood. I think this may be the best bet for me as far as buffets since its main focus is seafood...opinions?

Hi...great buffet and I love it, but focus is not seafood...focus is steamed clams and mussles with lots of other all american food...great ribs, some of the best at Disney, and roast chicken...

They do have fish dishes, but it is not a "seafood buffet" I am not aware of seafood buffet anywhere at Disney and we have about been everywhere.
Every buffet will have a fish dish and often it is a fancy salmon along with some fried fish...

If you want great fish but $$$$ fish it is Flying Fish at Boardwalk...MMMMM Here is menu from Cape May:

It's pretty good. I do think that if you are going expecting tons of seafood you will be disappointed. What they have is of good quality and tastes fine but it didn't blow any of us away.

I think you will like it. My family liked it so much that they requested a second visit during our 10 night stay. I'm not a red meat eater and I'm not that crazy about clams and won't touch the mussels and I found plenty to eat. The shrimp was good, salads were good and the desserts were wonderful. It isn't the biggest salad bar but I doubt anyone would go away hungry from this buffet.

Do they have fried shrimp or just peel and eat?

Not impressed last time we were there. Was just myself and 7 yr old dd. Very crowded at the buffet and out of many things, mostly everything dd ate. We were constantly getting up to see if they refilled things and it took a good 1/2 hr til they did, we gave up on the salad bar because it still wasn't refilled after 1/2 hr.

We spent more time at the buffet waiting in line than eating. Maybe it was an "off" night but I wouldn't go back again at this time (it was about 7:30). This was definitley one of our "lowlights" as far as dining went last trip. Go early, that's the best advice I have.

When we were there just the "peel n eat" but of course they're were barely any left.

Its been a while since we ate there but our thought that the food was pretty mediocre. Seafood is so much better when it is freshly prepared for you.
