Will I get to use my points????

I am in the process of buying a resale at BLT. There are 87 points that I will be getting that needs to be used by 2/13. My resale should be all done by September and in my name. I am planning a 50th birthday trip with my friends on Nov. 1 - Nov. 4th. Do you think it will be hard to get a place to rent if I call them in September when I become a member?

Your best bet will be at a larger resort like Saratoga Springs. But there are no guarantees about availability at less than two months out.

Just be prepared to be flexible. I did not get to my home resort (AKL) until my second trip. But I was thrilled with the resorts (VWL and Vero Beach) we did stay in so I am super glad that it worked out that way.

You never know what may pop up though; people have to cancel their trips all of the time.
