Will I Get Accosted???

We are going to WDW the week after T-giving. SInce it will be a bit cooler, I am planning to wear a "safari vest" that I have that has lots of pockets (great for all the family junk...uh...stuff).

The question is, if I put my pins on it, will everyone and their brother think I'm a Super Trader and try to trade with me? I can tell you that some of the pins would be good and some fairly common.

Are SuperTraders well known/understood to the average guest/trader?

Are there SuperTraders in parks other than Epcot?

Thanks for any advice. I would use a lanyard but they irritate my neck and I have too many pins for one.

You should be ok. There are lots of people that run around in the vest like supertraders but are reg. traders. You might get mistaken a time or two but for the most part you just say I am not a CM but I would love to trade perhaps...HEHE

As far as I know (unless things have changed ... Mike?), the only supertraders WDW has are in Epcot. There's a CM at the AK pin cart who wears a safari vest loaded with pins, but I don't believe he's recognized as a supertrader.

I'm sure you'll get quite a few people looking and probably be mistaken for a CM once or twice ... it's happened to me before and I only wear a lanyard.

Hey there! No answer to your original question, but wanted to say how nice it was to finally meet you in person! Thanks for wandering into my store on Friday

Also - I got some info on the pins we are getting that you asked me about! We should have about 8 or 9 different pins at $8 each that we are getting in sometime next week. No idea on a street date, so they might actually go right out for sale! Give the store a call on Wednesday morning around 10am or shortly thereafter for more info. I was just given this info yesterday.

I'll be there that week, and since I am fascinated with pins, and I will probably stare at your vest, unattractively drooling! I don't care if they are rack or LE, I just love looking at bright shiny objects.

I love to talk to people about pins, so it should be fun. It always amazes me how people assume that if you have a bunch of pins on, you must be an expert (ha!). Anyway, I try to offer advice if I can and I always tell people to collect what you LIKE not for the VALUE! There's just too many pins!

So, um, FergieTCat, shall I bring towels for the drool, or will you?
