Will I be uncomfortable with the kids at the GF?

I will be going to the GF the first week in December with my DH, mom and 3 yo and 8 month DSs. I've stayed at the GF a couple times before but never with kids. Will I get many disapproving stares and looks having my little ones there? My 3 yo for the most part is usually well-behaved, but he's still an energetic little guy who can have a tantrum at the drop of a hat. I don't want to spend the whole time feeling self-conscious. We brought him at 1 yo to the Poly, and although we loved it, wanted to try something different this time, plus my mother has always dreamed of staying at the GF.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

Good gosh no! We have taken our now 3 year old ds there since he was 1 (so 3 times) it is a great place for kids and they have some of the best kids programs hosted there (like the cooking program and the pirate cruise!)
This past visit (3 weeks ago) my son had a ball with the other kids in the pool. One night around 10pm (we are from the West Coast so are always up late at WDW) he played for an hour with kids from all over ranging in age from 3 - 7 and he had such a ball. I think that was one of the best times he had during our recent stay. He still talks about playing "ring around the rosie with those Louisiana girls" in the pool!
I would not take him to the fine dining restaurants there, but I wouldn't do it at home either! LOL!

I thought the GF was great for kids. In fact, my now 14 year old who was there when he was 10 and my son who is now 9 but was there at age of 5, both miss it. They really loved the buffet too at 1900 Park Fare. Go and have a great time!!! Carolyn

Please do not give this a second thought.
A) It's Disney World.
B) I've taken DD there 5 times since she was 2.5yrs.old and we've had tons of fun each time.
C) Go to the pool one time and you won't have any more doubts re. kids at the GF.

You are very considerate to be concerned but I can assure you the GF is gorgeous AND family-friendly. ENJOY!

As long as your kids don't tromp through the middle of a wedding photo, eat directly off the buffet line or seat themselves at another family's table, they should be fine. This is WDW and kids are expected to have fun. Just don't let your fun cause other families not to have their fun.

GF is a wonderful resort for kids.

If your son has a tantrum, maybe he needs a little nap time. Or a little less distraction.
