Will I be there in time?

Our flight arrives at MCO on July 5, around 3 p.m. and we have 6 p.m. ADR's. We are planning to take the Magical Express to POFQ, check in then head out to CP. Since this will be our first trip, is this enough time so that we can make dinner on time or should I consider changing ADR time? I booked early to avoid a long wait, but I suppose if we don't make it in time, that won't make any sense. I don't want to mess up on the first day there!

If you're flight is on time, you should get to POFQ by 4:30. Check-in 15 minutes. Allow 45 minutes to get to MK. You probably could make it, but if it will make you feel better, call & see if there are any times around 6:30 or 7:00.

I second the suggestion that trying for a later time might be a good idea. Just my humble opinion. ;) We learned the hard way that it can be very stressful after travelling all day, checking in, etc to try and make an ADR that very first night. Again, just my opinion!

I would make it later. You could make it provided nothing goes wrong, but if your plane is even 20 minutes late landing, and your ME bus takes a little time, and there is even a short wait to check in at POFQ, you could be very stressed. I would move it back an hour or so and then if you get there early you can just go at a slower pace.

I would just leave it like it is. If you are late, they are not likely to turn you away, and, if you make it on time, you are probably going to be hungry and ready to eat.

If you are a certain amount of time past your reservation you will need to go stand-by. I don't think they will hold your reservation and deny someone else admittance in your absence. After a set amount of time they believe you are a no-show.
I agree with the majority and suggest you move it to a later ADR.

I think I'll either move the ADR to a later time or go on another day. Since I do have a concern about being on time, I'd hate to have that on my mind the first day we get there. Thanks everyone!
