Day 6 - Magic Kingdom
Part 2 - Photos of an early morning at the MK!

Ok, Shawn took a lot of nice pictures at the Magic Kingdom this morning, and I couldn't get them all posted in the last segment, so I thought I would just dedicate an entire post to them. Hope no one gets too annoyed with seeing tons of pics of my 3 kids!

(Not a single other soul in this picture...that is so worth getting up a little early for....so pretty)

Michael noticed some ducks and a cute little bunny...

But the ducks were more interested in having their pictures taken...first the girl....

(She wasn't nearly as cooperative as the male...)

Here comes the male...boy does he love the camera, or what?

(He just kept posing....LOL)

(Seriously, it's so gorgeous...)

Ok, enough of that...back to where I was waiting over by the CP....the kids were running sort of in between where I was waiting and where Shawn was snapping pics...so this is what I was seeing most of the time...running towards me....

and then...running away from me....

But I did manage to snap one decent picture of the castle with my camera...

and this was the kind of wildlife that "posed" for my camera....LOL

Now we were on to breakfast....

I absolutely love the nearly empty MK pics! It is so worth getting up for that early ADR @ CP for those moments!!! We love CP!

We were at CP the day before you with the same adr time! And MK was packed that morning--people in all our shots, even at 8:00 a.m. My favorite picture is the one of your kids with their backs to the camera, standing on the railing. It just begs to be scrapbooked on it's own page!

Thanks Nichole! I found a great ebayer who does wonderful work and has great prices. Those outfits were like $24. They had sweet little orange ribbons to tie around the waist, but with running around a theme park I just figured they would come loose and get lost or something so I left them off. Her ebay name was amacim I think, if you put that in under a search as the seller's name, it should come up. She has great prices!

No, I didn't make any of them. I can hardly sew a button on. I bought them off ebay.

Aww...thanks. Shawn took A LOT of pictures this morning - I posted a small amount of them, truly. The video is so nice too, because you can hear all the birds, the Main St music, its just heavenly. And the ducks were really talking to us too! It was funny!

It's so wonderful to get there early! Some days it can be difficult (this was our last day and it was getting harder and harder to get up early), but I think we combined the trip with a good combo of sleep in days and get up early days!

I know Kathy! He is so funny about his smile! You should have seen him when we did the big family shoot at the GF during our Thanksgiving 2007 Trip! It was hilarious! He kept turning to my Mom and asking her if "this" smile looked ok, and he looked like a frog! He does much better if you just catch him in a candid shot!

Wow! Weird! It was really empty this morning! Pretty much all the people we walked in with headed right to check in at the CP, but since I knew we had 10 more minutes, I just let Shawn take the kids' pics while I waited. I have never been in there when it was that empty before. I kept wondering if that was an indicator of our day, but didn't want to get my hopes up as it was a Monday and it was a holiday. Foreshadow...foreshadow...LOL!

Excellent updates Sara and i love the MK pictures. It really is so magical to be there and feel like you have the place all to yourself! i'm so glad that was our first experience of the MK.

Aww...thanks Monica! I was really pleased with some of the pictures Shawn got this morning. I might just post some more...it's easier than writing, plus it'll make up for the LACK of pics later in the day!

I really look forward to when we can take our families to Disney together too! It'll be great fun!
