Will I be "Giving Thanks" at Thanksgiving?

My wife and I just had a major change of plans. We were going to go to WDW next spring and we had to change to Thanksgiving week this year. We are currently reserved at AKL for 3 of our seven days and have a wait list at AKL for the rest of the week. Will this open up in anyones experience? I do not mind staying at OKW or Saratoga. Will that be possible this time of year when I can make the reservation in May?

I have been down at the BWV for the last 3 Thanksgivings, I always had to make my reservation at the 11 month window because I needed a 2BR and a 1BR. We always arrived the Friday before Thanksgiving and it was hopping with guests but by Sunday it was insane busy we love the excitment but if that gives you an idea to your pending reservation you may want to find additional options for the rest of your stay if you want the AKL experience keep your 3 days and then make a move, I don't know I would not to be homeless in hopes of getting the entire week. Have a great time I love WDW at Thanksgiving .
