Will I be disappointed with Port Side???

Just wondering... like some input please... We have a verandah... I just hope that we are not unhappy with the view or lack there of while in port!

Ok...first time cruiser here and this may be a silly question. How do you know if you're on the port side or not ?

Based on the deck plans in the Brochure... I also think Dave has them on his site.

Do you know your room #... if so we can let you know!

Remember, port = left and starboard = right.

And the ship doesn't always dock in the same direction, depending on the conditions etc....don't worry

You are on PORT side (left) in the midship area.

One distinct advantage that we noticed about port versus starboard. Before departing Port Canaveral you will have the 4pm lifeboat drill. When you are on the port side you stand in the shade (east side of the ship). If you are on starboard you virtually bake in the sun wearing the life vest.

I also have heard that in Key West you can see the sunset from your verandah if you are on the port side.
