will I be covered by the insurance?

Hello,

I plan to go parasailing in WDW when we go though all my frineds are saying my insurance won't cover me if something goes wrong?

If this is true what can I do if the VERY unlikely event something went wrong?

Do disney offer an insurence package when you pay for the parasailing?

some insurance policy require an extra premium to be paid to cover water sports etc, it depends on what policy you have taken out, I would double check you policy.

Check your policy as some policies cover you for properly organised water sports.

As others have said check with your ins co.

most include it like ours, some just need notifying others might charge a small premium(but shouldn't). Its a very very low risk activity, with ours it just increases the excess to £400.

All companies have a different attitude towards hazardous pursuits so the only way to find out is to check your policy wording or call the company. As others have said - if it is not covered as standard they may be able to add it on for an additional premium.

Also, don't take this the wrong way but I work for an insurance company and know how much trouble it can cause when people don't read their policy wordings. I'm assuming you havn't, and really a message board is not a reliable way of checking your cover. You have been given great advice by the other posters here but other people on other boards might not be so helpful/sensible with their responses.

I know it is dull but PLEASE PLEASE read the wording - you might be surprised at some of the exclusions etc, and if you have any questions about the terminology I would be happy to help if I can.
