I saw that you have to be a DVC member to see it right now right? Do you think it will be that way? I was thinking of stopping to see it June 14 if available however I do not want to spend several hours witha sales rep at this point. Most likely we will by resale at another resort but I am tempted...

It couldn't hurt to ask, but I'm not sure you're going to get out of a sales presentation if you do get to tour.

We are visiting right now and are waiting at the preview center to tour. Right now they are doing current member tours every hour on the hour. I will report back if we sit through a sales presentation durring the 3 pm tour.

They were touring non-members if they set up an appointment for a tour. That will of course include the full sales pitch. The member tour on the other hand included us having to ask for point charts, being told by the guide that GFV was the 2nd resort to have dedicated 2 bedrooms, being told only Kidani has 3 bathrooms in the 2 bedroom, and being told that the 2 mini drawers and under the bed storage was perfectly adequate for the studio and the number of people staying there. After the tour we wanted to get some information on buying and they had no one available until tomorrow morning. I realize it is Memorial Day but I was surprised they didn't at least ask if we were interested and that I actually had to go in search of someone willing to talk to me about making a sale.

As a member you need to call your Guide. Many of the Guides are working out of the DVC offices in Celebration and they aren't available at SSR. They are processing so many phone sales right now that meeting with prospects takes too much time. Our Guide is working until 9:00 every night and they have a waiting list of call backs for confirmed sales that need processing.
