I am booked to go to Universal from May 7-10, staying at HRH. We will be at WDW right before this. I have booked a 2 day, park to park ticket. Now I see there is a promotion of buy 2 days and get 2 days free. Am I able to cancel my current ticket and buy the one with the promotion?

I purchased and booked everything on the Universal website directly.

thanks

Since you bought your tickets from universal, in the past years, they could make the change if you called them
if you bought the tickets and requested kiosk pick up, that is easy to adjust to new tickets now

call the ticket number and give the TM your ticket order number and they will work with you.

dont think you will have any problems.

okay great. I will call tomorrow and see what they say. Thanks!!

UPDATE: So I just finished my call with Universal. I must say, the TM who I spoke to was great...excellent customer service skills. She was able to cancel my previous 2 Day park to park tickets, and add on the 2 day park to park, with 2 days free. YAY!!! so excited.

Just a note about something she mentioned. Apparently they can charge a $50 revision fee for any changes. She was sweet and didn't charge me, but wanted to let anyone know as an FYI!

Glad you had a happy ending
And returned to give us the update

UO has always had that $50 fee for changes in a package
Any time you make an adjustment if any type, fee is applied

In your case, did not mention that as I figured it would be waived
You bought what was advertised and days later, new promo came out

UO does each situation differently and listens to the customer
And they use common sesnse to make a decision

You had a situation where policy (new promo) came out soon after you booked
They don't penalize people over that

can someone tell me where that promo is or if its available to everyone? I can't seem to find it. Thanks!!

Thank you, but I found another thread where it expires end of May and we go in June :( Thanks you anyways!

It is on the UO website but think you have found that by what you posted
The buy 2 days get 2 free tickets expire end of May

Volcano Bay opens May (25 or 26)

My guess is ticket restructuring for June due to UO having 3 parks then

For the buy 2 days get 2 free ticket do you think they will also give you the 15% off if you are an annual pass holder or am I better off buying the 4 day ticket at the gate and getting my discount there?

ap holders can get discounts off of ticket purchase but don't know if they cover the special promo tickets such as buy 2 days get 2 days free

this promo ends at end of May.
those tickets will expire then.

Thanks for the info. We are going 5/20-5/26, so the dates work out perfect for us. Just didn't know if they would still give me the APH discount. Would bring my 3 other tickets down to $200! ; )

to find out UO stand on it you can call the AP hotline number or send an email to guest services to see if you can get the ap discount on the 2 + 2 passes.

i don't think you can as 2 of the tickets are free and would not have any monetary value.
but, i don't have all the answers but UO would

Thanks so much!! Really appreciate the advice!!

I don't think you get an AP discount on already discounted tickets.

Just throwing in my personal story...I recently booked a trip in May with 3 day Park-to-Park tickets, saw this thread, and called today to see if I could get mine changed over to the 2 day park to park with 2 days free. They did it! Our vacation isn't paid off yet, so the TM changed our tickets over and took the price difference off of our package total. Thanks to everyone for posting about this!
