We're driving to Pt. Canaveral next month to cruise on the Magic, DS will be entertaining himself in the car with a portable DVD player. Any reason to think the DVDs or the DVD player would be harmed by whatever heat may build up in a parked vehicle in the DCL lot at the port? I remember having audio cassettes or even VHS tapes warp from heat of a parked car. Arent the DVD's all digital and there isn't anything to get ruined? I'm trying to avoid having to lug the thing on board and back off when I know we're not going to use it on board.
If I'd gotten the built in DVD player for the vehicle like I decided not to do when we bought it, then that DVD player would have all the same parts and wouldn't get ruined by the heat, right? Anyone who can verify that right or wrong, or who knows what the deal is with DVDs and if they can be ruined in the heat, your input would be much appreciated.
