Will Disney trade tickets?

I have a seven day park hopper ticket and want to get an annual pass. I know that I can hang onto the ticket as it will never expire, but I was wondering if an upgrade is possible if it has never been used?

You can certainly use the 7 day towards the AP. And, could even if it had been used.

Thanks - you were fast! I guess I'll just keep the ticket and buy an annual pass. I'm sure we'll be going back before too long anyways -
