Will Disney send me a receipt?

i just made a large portion of my payment on my Disney resort reservation, but I've yet to receive confirmation or any notice that shows I've made the payment. Do I need to call and specifically ask for a receipt to show that I did, in fact, make a payment?

They will, sometimes it takes a couple of days. You can log onto your account and check it that way.

You should receive an email from Disney that says something along the lines of "You're one step closer to the magic!" It will show how much you've paid cumulatively, how much you paid on your last payment, and how much you have left to pay.

It can take 2 hours to 2 days to get the email

Based on my experience, you've got a 50/50 chance of getting that receipt, lol.

My odds have been more like 10/90. I never expect one any more and am pleasantly surprised when I get one.

I made multiple payments for my last two trips, after asking for an email receipt never got one. Probably made about 6-8 payments total.
