I know,I know, your going to say 'call the airline and find out'....but I was wondering if anybody has ever done this? I have a credit large enough to buy two round-trip tickets and wonder if I can do this with just the initial $100 change fee?? First: Will they let me split it into 2 round-trip tickets? Second:
Will they charge me $100 for the whole change or $100 for each RT ticket they make up for me??
Has anyone ever done this? Any opinions,comments...
Thanks,
Debbie

I'm kind of confused with your post, do you have a credit or are you changing tickets? I had a $400 credit once that I got from being bumped from a flight and I used it for 2 tickets that same winter for me and my Mom. They told me that I could purchase any amount of tickets with the credit as long as the travelers were traveling with me. Not sure why you mention the $100 change fee, which I understand is only done on non-refundable tickets that you have already purchased and are changing to a future date. I forgot to mention that all this was done with Delta. HTH :cool1:

but I don't plan on just changing the date,I plan on changing the destination too....

So its not a credit its a change. I changed my ticket from PA/Texas to PA/MCO (actually for this trip) and was charged the $100 penalty fee. If what you mean is that you have left over from the ticket, that would be a credit and you should be able to apply it to another ticket but you would definitely have to call them to make this possible. Keep in mind that they will take the first $100 off the top to issue your first ticket and the remainder would be your credit. Good luck. HTH :teeth:
