Will Coronado Springs disappoint after the Polynesian?

We've done this too (poly vs CSR). If transportation is your issue then drive your own car. I love that you can park for free at the parks with your resort parking pass. I prefer driving my own car vs the bus anyday ! Of course you will miss the convenience of the monorail to the MK from the poly.

I LOVE the poly but there are things about it I don't like (overcrowded pool--and I know all those people are not staying there). I actually think I like the CSR pool better--lots more seating, food service at the pool, and its very tropical.

Also if you do drive your own car and your room is far from El Centro, just drive to it. That's what we have done. But all in all its a pretty nice resort (just got back today from CSR, Hilton Parc Soleil, then AKL). That being said, if you are dead set a staying at a Disney resort I totally get it (love the theming) but they are $$$. Try an off site hotel and then you will have the dilemma we face: poly vs CSR vs offsite!!!

Visit the poly while you are there and you will be fine

We have stayed at the Poly for the last 4 years! However, we stayed at CSR the few years before we became an official family if 5. If I had to go to a mod or value I would aim for CSR!!!

It's different but we still loved it! We loved the Cabanas section but do your homework, it's a large resort!

The Polynesian is our favorite resort. We really disliked Coronado. It did not feel like Disney to us at all. Too many suits and business meetings at the food court area and it was far too spread out. The rooms were beautiful though. It just didn't have the same kind of vibe for us- we won't stay there again.

It's not the Poly, but it's still a great resort, and it a has a fabulous pool. Is it possible for you to book the new business class. It's CSR's version of club level. It might enhance your vacation a little, and you will be guaranteed a great location.
