Will codes be released this week???

I was under the impression that with the popularity of the Happiest Celebration, there would not be any codes. Rooms are booking fast.

When I got my email code, I was told there was not any CSR rooms available for a code rate unless I wanted a suite. The CM that helped me said I was fortunate to get an email code because general codes may not be released as rooms are booking quickly at rack rate.

I was told the same thing last week. However he did say to watch the AP web page as he believes the AP codes will be out before long and they won't last. He said bookings have been very high.

I'm sure booking are higher because of the celebration, but you'd think they'd still release some codes to further book things up, especially for those dates like in May before most schools let out.

Maybe a Disney Visa special will come along. When was the last time THEY had a WDW special?

Thank you Weluvpluto and FanningIII. Mousesavers is always extremely slow on my computer -- I guess it's quite popular! -- and I could not find that section for anything. I am watching for early summer codes just out of curiosity, and will remember to start watching for later summer codes after April has passed. I am hoping for a good rate on one of the less expensive Deluxes. The kids want to stay at AKL.

Some resorts in late April/early and mid May are already booked to capacity.

I believe the last Disney Visa special offered $25 Disney Dollars at checkin.

which resorts are full and for what weeks? I didn't have any problem booking Pop May 14-21

I frequently check expedia for dates to see what rooms are available since they show rooms as sold out etc... but I have yet to see a resort fully booked (a night here or there at AKL, or some studios at the villas, but not for more then a night or two)

Well, since Eisner has assisted in digging Disney in a hole, I have no doubt that Disney Co will do everything possible to let him go out with some dignity. If that means booking rooms at rack-rate if people want them and are willing to pay, that is exactly what they will do. Cannot I say I blame them.

Wouldn't you sell your items on ebay at higher cost if people would pay for them before you drop them to reel in customers?

I have been checking availibility for early May on Disneys website and Expedia and they show availability pretty much everywhere. The CMs who answer the phones in reservations are there to book rooms, not provide discount info and probably get commission or bonus based on the # of bookings."Its selling out fast," is the oldest sales tactic in the book. Also, various people have gotten totally different info on codes from the CMs,I bet the truth is they really don't know until it happens,or maybe a day before. They base their answers on what they've seen happen in the past,on telling people what they want to hear, or the occasional mean one who says no codes this year.
Lets all keep hoping!
