Will codes be released this week???

hmmm do you all think codes will be released this week? Seems like a lot of CM's now are saying "soon" or giving the 17th as a date... this thursday is the 17th so do you all think codes might be released this week?

Anyone called today?

Hope nobody "flames" you on this thread because seems like when you post something about codes now...everyone is getting a little crazy. Anyhow, I have never heard anything about codes coming out the 17th, but I must say...that would be a great birthday gift to me...the 17th is my birthday!!!!!!!

Code rate BDP expires on 2/16/05. . .usually it takes a few days thereafter before a new one is issued, but then again .

I'm guess sometime between the 17th of February and the 7th of March. CM I spoke to did say very soon but who knows. I'm just glad she thinks they are coming out. I was a little worried with all the hype over the MYW tickets. And now the craziness of the code watch begins. I'll be the "craziest" code watcher of all.

Most of the references I have seen that talk about CM's and new codes being released were talking about AP rates.

Has anyone asked and received a date for general public codes?

I think if you check Mousesavers.com and here at the DIS frequently, you will know shortly after they are released. Good Luck to all of us hoping for those special codes!

Trust me, as soon as they are out, they will be posted here on the DIS and all over the internet.

Mary at www.mousesavers.com is good about getting them up immediately. In fact, she has posted a note on her homepage in the past saying the codes were coming out on a certain day and to check back then.

I strongly believe there will be at least AP codes.

I think they mean "you" as in whoever posts about a code, not you specifically!!

I'm not sure this is true. Last year when I was waiting for codes a kind CM took pity on me and told me to watch the beginning of the next week - and guess what that Tuesday there were out!

Sometimes, they'll see something in their computer, but they can't click on it. That's what happen the last code. I had called to add something to my next trip, and asked her to check on codes for teh next one. She said something was in her machine, but it wasn't useable yet. Two days later general codes came out. She did say they are never told when that would be, but that that's usually a clue.

I'm guessing March 7-9 codes will be released. I believe they were released March 9th last year to be exact. I too remember cm's saying "soon, anyday now, keep checking this week" for about a month!! It drove me crazy, but I do recall they tend to release codes around the same time within days of previous trends year to year, unless they decide to do something differently this year. Hang in there, I know it is pure torture!

Im not one to bank on codes but this afternoon my wife was planning a disney trip for us the end of April or beginning of May. Well she gave me the pricing she got with out codes and I had this look like, we have APs use them, I know there were some codes released, she responded they are all booked, no big deal but the CM told her that we could apply new AP codes shortly, and hinted that they should be out very soon.

So take it for what its worth, I try not to bank on the codes but it would be nice to get a better discount than our standard AAA discount. Also if we do not get codes we will go regardless, while the AP passes are nice for discounts I didnt buy them for that, and this being our 3rd trip with them it sure has paid off. Too bad our daughter is 3 now and we have to get her a parkpass, I think Disney should change that to atleast 4 =P
