Will characters sign other items?

Just wonder if the characters in the parks and at the meals will sign other items besides an autograph book. I'm specifically thinking of my oldest, who I don't think would want one. Would the characters be willing to sign the t-shirt that he is wearing? Thanks.

Not one that he's wearing. You'd have to bring a separate one and do something to make it easier to sign, like maybe stretch it across a clipboard.

I got both of my kids pillowcases with something embroidered in the center with (daughter got a Frozen theme and son got a Star Wars theme-got them both off of Etsy) and their names and we're going to have the characters sign that for us. They are VERY excited!

We've seen characters sign pillow cases, t-shirts, bags, books, etc. They just won't sign anything your son is wearing at the time. How about a hat? It would be easy to carry along, light weight, and something he might would really like keeping. If you take a blank t-shirt, take a cardboard piece to insert between it to help the characters have support when signing.

We've done the shirt thing, and it makes a great souvenir - but like others have said, it can't be currently worn while being signed.

Have seen adults having these signed, looked very cool. They sell them and a Cars one in the park gift shops. Not cheap but a cool thing to sign.

My DD17 brought a new pair of white canvas shoes. She had several colors of Sharpie markers, also. Several characters thought it was unique. It made the coolest souvenir ever! Just make sure they are brand new!

We did pillowcases one trip - took multi colored fabric markers and embroidery hoops to hold the fabric tight to sign. Honestly, it was a lot of "mommy" work - I carried the pillowcases/hoops/markers, I moved the hoop placement, etc - but they turned out SO great and they are my favorite keepsake from the parks. I'm so glad we did them when the kids were REALLY into meeting the characters, because they are sort of over it now (aside from the odd character here and there) and don't want to waste time in a character line.

Great idea!!! I was thinking even a plain backpack.

Thanks everyone, and keep the ideas coming! :) Thanks for letting me know that they won't sign a shirt that he is wearing, and to have something to make it easier. I am going to toss some ideas out at the boys and see which one they like best.

We did canvas tote bags, they were like $9 for 3 at Hobby Lobby. They turned out so cool and the characters loved them. Frozone tried to steal one of ours ;D We used a rainbow of colors of Sharpies and a piece of cardboard inside.

This is after day 1.
