Will Call AP and Magic Band

If I have my AP Voucher linked to my Magic Band, before I arrive, do I need to go to guest services to activate my AP when I check in or can I just go to the gate and they can register my finger scan there.
This is for a DVC annual Pass btw.

Vouchers for new APs are not valid for park admission. You will need to stop at either a park ticket window or guest relations location to exchange for the actual pass.

My Sister also received tickets (Not vouchers) that are linked to their Magic Bands.
Will they need to register their tickets at Guest Relations too?

If the tickets were purchased as stand-alone tickets and NOT purchased as part of a WDW Resort Package, they will be ready to go upon arrival with no extra trip to Guest Relations.
