We are staying at a 1 bedroom at VWL from 8/17-8/22. However, I recently got a Ding fare from Southwest that pushed our fly-down to a day earlier than we had planned. I'm thinking of maybe checking in to one of the Pop resorts for the night of the 16th and getting our vacation started a day early. We usually buy our groceries on the way in, but I now wonder how I will store the food that needs refrigeration. I know that Pop bell services can store it and move it and our luggage over to VWL, but I am a bit nervous about how long that might take and our cold stuff spoiling in transit. Getting groceries on 8/17 instead may not be possible as I will most likely only have access to a car on 8/16 (also the reason I can't just move the food myself on 8/17). I would also rather not go the grocery delivery route.
Does anyone know if bell services at WL will store our stuff overnight on 8/16 for check in at VWL on 8/17? Or maybe, for the sake of simplicity, should we just check into a regular room at WL on 8/16 so that we only have to deal with bell services at one hotel? Price difference for us is about $120 between Pop and WL, but that is just about our expenses on groceries for the week at VWL. Any advice or other options we overlooked would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
