Will bell service hold my "cold" food during split stay?

Hello All:wave:

I am going between 3 resorts in the future and am wondering if I will be able to bring along my fridge items from one resort to another while we go to the parks and "wait" for check in. Does bell service have a place to hold these items does anyone know? I have never gone from one villa to another mid trip. TIA :)
 
Yes they do but make sure you repeatedly tell them and mark the package that it needs to be refrigerated.

We have done this many times but one time at OKW they must have misunderstood me or just screwed up and did not refrigerate the bag. We checked out, went on our Disney cruise, and checked back in to receive this bag of food that reeked.

I called bell services back and was given a gift card in the amount of $ to replace our food.
 
Personally, I would simply bring a collapsible cold tote and place my items in there before handing it over to guest services. That way you still have your things..just in case..

We just did a split stay in Dec--CBR to AKL. The bag with cold items was clearly marked--I tipped the bell service worker that picked up our stuff--then we headed out for a day at the parks. After checking in at AKL, we stopped at bell services to give them our room number, and when I mentioned that there should also be a bag in the fridge the cast member realized that it had been left out with our luggage!! They very kindly offered to replace the items--great--except--we got a call at 11pm that our items were there now & did we want them delivered or wait till morning. Needless to say, we waited till morning since we were already in bed. I wasn't impressed--especially since this all started at approx 4 pm.

I wonder if it is something w/AKL, as we had a similar problem when transferring from CSR. Our leftover food from our Garden Grocer order was marked well, but when we checked in later that day, food bags were missing. We described what we had in them, and manager ended up telling us just to go buy what we needed in the store, and they would take care of the bill. We did not have a problem our second time last yr. though when transferring from Pop., so maybe hit or miss there.

Oh dear, this is exactly what I am doing! Going to Kidani from Pop, and then from Kidani to VWL. I hope I fare better o_O Thank you for the input everyone!!
