Going to a xc race with my son and visiting a college in NC. We will pass several Sonic's on the way. Folks on here seem to like it. What should I get. I mainly want to try one of their drinks. We always have the commercials but no Sonic here.

I used to love Sonic! I remember some type of green icy/slushy drink. This was awhile ago, don't know if they still have it. it was really good, though.

Look at the menu and go wild, you can get any combination of flavors you want mixed together as a slushie kid of drink or mixed with soft serve ice cream as a slurry kind of drink. We go there all the time and I still can't remember the official names for the stuff. I always get a limeaide anyway. The food is great too. I like the chicken club toaster. Chicken breast fried with letucce, tomato, bacon, cheese, and a honey mustard sauce on two pieces of thick toast. Large tater tots with cheese. Yum Yum.

Sunshine Smoothie!!! It has vanilla ice cream, orange juice, banana and strawberries mixed together. They serve breakfast all day long. I love their onion rings and french fries.

I'm not a huge Sonic fan but would go for cherry limeade and a cheese and chili dog if I were going.

Lemon Fresh Fruit Slush and Cheese Sticks are my favorite on the road snack. If I'm going to stop and eat I'll get Frito Pie with onions and a corn dog. Then I go home and brush my teeth so people will still talk to me!

I LOVE cherry limeades, ocean waters (sprite and coconut), and cherry cokes. I always get one of those.

My DH loves the strawberry limeade, because it's chocked full of real pieces of strawberry that he can suck up the straw =0

Cheese tots are great, as are their burgers.

I would definatly say ONION RINGS if nothing else.......also the footlong chili cheese coney is wonderful. There isn't much at Sonic that isn't good.

For drinks I love Cherry Limeaids and my favorite a REAL DIET COKE WITH REAL LEMON but you have to be a Diet Coke addict to like that.

OOOO or an Orange Flurry.......tastes just like a Dreamcicle!

I was always partial to their cream pie shakes but really any drink is good there. They also have (had?) potato wedges with cheese and other stuff on it that was really good.

The blue coconut slushee... Stains your teeth like Papa Smurf, but worth it. I don't really like any of their food.

I guess I just take Sonic for granted...there's one on every corner here, and it's my least favorite fast food restaurant...give me Arby's or Zaxby's any day.
