Will a 39” 3yr old fit in Chicco Bravo stroller?

Our youngest just turned 3 so he will need a stroller for naps etc in Disney. The only stroller that’s light, not crazy priced, not a jogger, & is a one hand fold that I’m certain will fit a 39”child old is a cybex Eternis. but there’s no snack tray, nor is there an option to buy one. Normally not a big deal, but he’s a slow eater and I don’t want to have to wait 20 minutes for him to finish while the rest of us are all done. He’s a grazer too. He will eat his fruit then an hour or 2 later ask for his sandwich etc. So i need a tray.

So the next best thing is the Chicco Bravo LE, but i can’t find the Seat to canopy height anywhere. It comes with a tray however.

Lastly there’s the Britax B lively, but by the time you purchase a separate tray and parent tray it’s over 200 dollars. I don’t want to spend that much when he won’t be in a stroller much longer.

I don’t want to rent one because I need a stroller for the airport. The stroller i currently have i don’t like enough for such a long trip. An annoying stroller can really make a break your day.

My only suggestion is to buy off of amazon, set it up and if it doesn’t fit return it... just make sure it’s marked as eligible for free returns. I did this once when I was considering a stroller, I decided not to get it dissembled and returned without a problem (DD didn’t fit or we would have kept it). The other option is if it’s available in a store near you take your son to the store and see if it fits him... good luck!

I tried target and Walmart and they only had the Chicco Viaro, Chicco Liteway, and Chicco mini. He was too long for the mini and Liteway but fit perfectly in the Viaro. The span between the viaro’s back wheels was over 30” though so that wouldn’t work in tight spots.

I’ll go ahead and order from amazon if no one Chimes in saying their 3 year old fits the Chicco Bravo LE (the bravo is the same but without a tray)

You could always bring yours for the airport and rent a different one to use in the parks.

If we had a nonstop flight we were going to use an umbrella stroller for the airport and rent the city mini. And my 20 month old was at least 35 inches at the time.

We have a Chicco Bravo that our 50 inch 8 year old fits in. It's an awesome Disney stroller. She's a little too tall for the canopy at this point(by an inch or 2) but there is no reason that a 39 inch kiddo wouldn't fit. She didn't try to nap in it obviously, but it seems deep enough for the average kid. I would buy it from somewhere and try it though, just to make sure it works for you.

Our babies r’ us closed down so i THOUGHT i was limited to walmart and target. But Today while i was atthe mall I saw a huge Buy buy Baby sign where the old motherhood maternity used to be. I ran in b4 afternoon carpool and put our just turned 3 year old of 39 inches in the Chicco Bravo LE, the baby jogger city mini, the baby jogger city mini GT, and the Britax B Lively. I chose the Chicco Bravo LE and LOVE it!

I’m so sad I’ve gone all these years with strollers that don’t even come close to comparing to this stroller. It’s AWESOME. It’s the only stroller that REALLY has a one had fold AND a one hand open. There’s no looking for a latch on the side to open before you can open the whole stroller. It magically stays closed without a latch and stands alone without falling over! When you’re ready to open it, you just open it- no latch - no nothing. I was amazed & My son fit fine. The side latch thing might not be issue for most mom’s. But while going to to the airport multiple times a year and in and out of shuttle buses all the time at Saint Jude’s while our oldest was being treated there, it got really old carrying a baby and bending over looking for a latch on the side when i needed to reopen the stroller. (You can’t ever tell which side it’s on because it’s hard to know if you’re looking at the right or the left when it’s folded and you have to bend over with a baby on your hip and diaper bag in tow. It’s just awkward and gets old after doing it multiple times a day for long periods of time.)

In case in the future anyone has the same child size dilemma as me, I’ll comment on the other strollers. I liked the Britax b lively a lot too, and my son fit. It folded beautifully with one hand and stood on its own. There was a latch that had to be pulled on the side before you could open it though, & you have to purchase the snack tray separately as well as a parent tray/organizer. Next up was the baby jogger brand. After hearing and reading so much about these strollers “all the celebrities use them blah blah blah,” i was very underwhelmed when I got to try them out in person. My son fit, but the fabric wasn’t as nice as the chicco and Britax and there was less padding. And the biggest issue was the fact that they didn’t stand alone. You had to lie them flat. It’s 2019- all strollers in this price range should be stand alones! I was shocked that the oh so raved about Baby Jogger CIty mini and city mini GT did not do so, and there was a latch on the side too. They did fold with one hand nicely, however.

So anyway, the Chicco Bravo LE ROCKS! I’ve never been more excited about a piece of baby gear. I swear I don’t work for chicco. I’m just really pumped about this stroller! I can’t wait to use it in Disney :)

We have a Chicco bravo stroller & key fit car seat. I love their products too & don’t work for them either :)!
