Hello everyone. We are thinking of a quick trip to WL 11/6 to 11/11 and were curious if the holiday decorations are up by then...does anyone know? TIA.
The only thing completely done that early is MK and that is because the MVMCP starts early NOv. The resorts are in the process of going up but not all are completed till Thanksgiving week. So in short there may be some or none. If your only reason to go is to see the holiday decor, you would be better off waiting a few weeks.
We stayed there for a week a few years back. Our stay started 10 days before Thanksgiving and there were no decorations up. We left 3 days before Thanksgiving and the place was completely decorated.
My wife stayed up in the lobby until 3:00am one night to watch them erect and decorate the lobby tree. It was pretty cool.
So, if things haven't changed they probably won't start decorating until @ the 16th.
Thanks for all of your quick responses. We are not specifically going at this time just to see the decorations, it is just a good time for us work/school wise to get a way for a quick trip. We have never been to WDW in November and was just curious about the decorations as it would have been a bonus to our trip. Oh well, maybe I can convince DH to go back in December

I envy you. When we went in late October, spilling into early November, it was hands down the nicest weather we've ever had over a weeklong period visiting WDW. Warm enough to swim during the day (especially with heated pools), but less humid than summer, and not too cool at night (a light jacket or sweatshirt took care of any chills). I don't think it rained even once while we were there the whole week.
We stayed at the WL November 13-20, 2004 and the Christmas decorations were already up when we arrived. My sister traveled to the World November 3-10 of the same year, but stayed at AKL, and there were no decorations, not even on the day they left. I think it will be hit or miss.
