Wildfire concerns for late April trip?

Any concerns for a late April/early May trip due to the wildfires? Even if the fires are not near the park, there could be other complications due to the wildfires. Just wondering if anybody has heard anything or has the same concerns.

As you can probably tell, wildfire season in California is now essentially a 12-month period. But if Southern California gets any rain this year, it will be between now and March or April, so there will be less likelihood of fires then. I wouldn't spend a lot of time worrying about it. Even with those fires in the past few weeks, I saw few reports of bad air quality at DL.

Fire season is generally April - October or end of the rainy season to the beginning of rainy season. But fires can break out at anytime.

I would not worry about the fire situation unless someone in your family has really critical needs for air quality. As someone already noted, the air quality nearly every day of the fire at Disneyland stayed well in the green. You can check AIRNOW for a current rating. I was there last week and wore a mask but that was to minimize exposure to coughing people near me, not the air quality. I actually was happy people were thinking about the air quality 'cause then I could wear a mask without feeling as self-conscious. There are Always a few people wearing masks so if someone in your party needs one they can certainly wear it without getting odd looks or anything.

I agree with others, I would plan your trip and not worry about it.

I'm not trying to be snarky, but there could also be an earthquake or other natural disaster. I mean, they had hurricane remnants go through SoCal in August 2023!

Someone made a good point about air quality. That's the only consideration. I went July 4th last year and the air quality was terrible the few days afterwards because of all the people shooting fireworks off from their yards. I had never heard so many fireworks for such a long period of time! It was basically booms all day on the 4th without stopping! To be clear, I would absolutely go again July 4th - it was a fantastic time of year to go and crowds were very manageable.
