Wilderness Villas studio?

Got my waitlist at the absolute last minute for a 10/13 arrival to Wilderness!! We are BW/AKV owners and have NEVER stayed at VWL.

We are in a studio - can anyone share any pointers for room/location request? Do any of the rooms have water views?

Thanks so much...can't wait to get there on Thursday - first time VWL & first time MNSSHP!!!

Try to avoid the dreaded dumpster view at the end of the hallway. There is very little in the way of views. The views are mostly of pine trees.

Lake view close to elevators will keep you away from the dumpsters and maintenance area. You will be on the side of the building on the lake side, above the pool, away from the road.

You know, I really think that VWL views are underrated. We've been 5 times, and four of those times we had wonderful views of the lake with just a partial obstruction from pine trees (which is a great setting by themselves). Perhaps we have just been lucky, but each time we sit on our balcony and think, "I thought VWL had no views."
