Wilderness Lodge...

I am staying at the Wilderness Lodge part of my Disney trip and I just wanted to know if it was any good because I have never stayed there before.

The WL is beautiful and relaxing. We stayed there for our first family trip in 2001 and we are staying there again next month. We thought about trying other resorts, but we were afraid they wouldn't compare to the WL. So, we are returning and can't wait. You won't be sorry.

- The lobby is breathtaking
- There are 2 hot tubs for relaxing after a long day at the parks
- You can watch the EWP from the beach
- If you have an upper floor wood's view you can see the FITS from your room
- The restaurants are great!
- You're close to FW and all it has to offer
- We love the boat to MK and the convenience to the CR for Chef Mickey's

The theming of this resort is just great and the service is fantastic. Have a great trip!

After many trips to WDW and staying off and on property, this will be my first stay at WL thanks to FTP.

I CANT WAIT! Ive always wanted to stay there since day one, but could never afford it. Now I can for a 7 days,,Yipeee!!
My dream come true!

DH and are going home to the WL in December.

We have stayed at the Lodge several times and keep going back.

Hey, there was no option to say WE LOVE IT!! Not just like it.

It's by far the best of the best in our book. If we could afford it we stay each and every visit.

Only 11 days to go, Lucky you! We will be spending 2 days there in November. You will have to be sure to give us your opions when you get back. I think it will be great from all that I have read about it.

I think it is an awesome resort.

If was my favorite until we stayed at the Epcot resort area. Epcot is my fav park. Now, BCV is my fav.

We LOVED this resort. However, it's the only resort that we have stayed at. This was our first trip staying on site and our first trip with our three girls (10, 6, 1.5). It is so beautiful. When we were deciding where to stay for our upcoming trip, we decided to go back to the WL. I really would have liked to see something different, but I am affraid that it won't compare to the WL. Hope you enjoy yourself!!

I guess everyone likes it! I'm so excited because the resort sounds SO cool!

but I almost voted "didn't like it". We stayed there in May and although it is a beautiful resort, we felt far removed from everything. But, we like the epcot resort area so that's not a fair comparison I guess. I thought the rooms were small and dark. The pool was small (again, I'm comparing it to my fave Stormalong Bay). The transporation and CM's in my experience weren't very helpful. It took 15-20 rings whenever we called the front desk. The CM who checked us in never once looked up or smiled..she wasn't very disney-like. When we pulled up nobody rushed to our car like they do at YC/BC.

We did like the trail to Fort Wilderness - that was fun! I liked the geyser. And, I loved Artist Pointe. Delicious.

However, tons of people love it on these boards and you may be one of them.
